Refund & Return Policy – Youdash.in

At Youdash.in (“Youdash,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”), we strive to ensure that every user has a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience across all our services – Grocery, Food Delivery, Ecommerce Shop, Parcel Delivery, and Car Rentals.

We understand that, at times, you may need to request a refund or return. This Refund & Return Policy explains how refunds, replacements, cancellations, and returns are handled.


1. Grocery & Daily Essentials

  • Refunds are applicable in cases of damaged, expired, missing, or wrong items.

  • Perishable items such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meat must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Refunds will not be provided if the product is opened, tampered with, or used.

  • Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method or as Youdash Wallet credits within 5–7 business days.


2. Food Delivery

  • Refunds are provided only in cases of:

    • Incorrect order delivered.

    • Missing items.

    • Stale, spoiled, or unfit-for-consumption food.

  • Refund requests must be raised within 12 hours of delivery.

  • Refunds for taste preference will not be entertained.

  • In some cases, we may issue partial refunds or provide Youdash Wallet credits as compensation.


3. Ecommerce Shop (Clothing, Electronics, Household & More)

  • Products can be returned or replaced within 7 days of delivery, subject to vendor policies.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags intact.

  • Certain items (e.g., personal hygiene products, lingerie, perishable goods, digital products) are non-returnable.

  • Refunds will be initiated once the product passes the vendor’s quality check.


4. Parcel Delivery

  • Refunds are applicable if:

    • The parcel is lost, undelivered, or severely damaged during transit.

    • Wrong recipient delivery occurs due to Youdash or delivery partner error.

  • Refunds will not be applicable if incorrect address or incomplete information is provided by the sender.

  • For fragile or special-care items, refunds will be provided only if proper packaging was ensured by the sender.


5. Car Rentals

  • Refunds are processed if a booking is canceled before the vendor’s cancellation cut-off time.

  • No refunds will be provided for late cancellations, no-shows, or early returns.

  • In cases of car unavailability or vendor cancellation, a full refund will be provided.

  • Refunds for security deposits (if applicable) will be processed once the vehicle passes inspection.


6. General Refund Guidelines

  • Refunds will always be made to the original payment method (card, UPI, wallet, etc.) or as Youdash Wallet credits, based on your preference.

  • Refund processing time is 5–7 business days, but may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.

  • Delivery charges, convenience fees, or service charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the entire order is canceled due to vendor/service failure.

  • Refund eligibility is subject to vendor’s approval and Youdash’s verification process.


7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind or dislike of product after delivery.

  • Delay in delivery due to traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond vendor/delivery partner’s control.

  • Items returned without original packaging, seal, or proof of purchase.

  • Services already consumed (e.g., completed car rental, delivered parcel).
