Terms of Use – Youdash.in

Welcome to Youdash.in (“Youdash,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website www.youdash.in (“Website”) and our mobile applications Youdash (Android & iOS) (“App”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.


1. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • To access certain features, you will be required to create an account. During registration, you must provide accurate, complete, and updated information.

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any activity conducted through your account.

  • Youdash reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.


2. Nature of Services

  • Youdash provides an online marketplace that connects customers with third-party vendors, sellers, and restaurants for ordering groceries, food, household items, fashion, electronics, and more.

  • Youdash itself is not a seller, manufacturer, or producer of the listed products. The responsibility for quality, safety, and accuracy of products rests solely with the respective vendors.

  • Delivery times are not instant (not a 10-minute service). All delivery timelines are based on the estimated time provided by vendors during registration and order confirmation.

  • Services may vary by location depending on vendor availability.


3. Orders & Acceptance

  • Placing an order on the Youdash Platform constitutes an offer to purchase products or services. Acceptance occurs when the vendor confirms the order and/or when Youdash notifies you through the app.

  • Youdash may cancel or refuse any order at its sole discretion if:

    • The product is unavailable,

    • The vendor cannot fulfill the request,

    • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected, or

    • Incorrect pricing or listing errors occur.

  • You will be notified in such cases, and refunds (if applicable) will be processed promptly.


4. Cancellations by Users

  • Customers may cancel an order within the cancellation window displayed in the app, subject to vendor-specific policies.

  • Orders already prepared, dispatched, or out for delivery cannot be cancelled.

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in account restrictions or suspension.


5. Returns & Refunds

  • Delivered products are not returnable except under the following conditions:

    • The product is defective, expired, damaged, or materially different from what was ordered.

    • Incorrect item or quantity delivered.

  • For food and grocery items: returns are only permitted at the time of delivery if issues are immediately reported.

  • Refunds will be initiated after vendor verification and may take 5–7 working days to reflect in your account or wallet.

  • You may be asked to share supporting proof (photos, videos, or packaging details) to process claims.


6. Payments

  • Payments can be made via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, or other approved methods.

  • By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

  • Prices are listed inclusive of applicable taxes unless mentioned otherwise.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) may be restricted based on order value, product type, or location.

  • Failed transactions will be automatically reversed to the original payment method within standard processing timelines.

 


7. Account Deletion

Users and Vendors of the Youdash and Youdash Vendor applications may request permanent deletion of their account at any time. Once an account deletion request is submitted, all personal information associated with the account—including profile details, contact information, store information, and operational data—will be securely removed or anonymized in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and business requirements.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your account, please follow one of the options below:

  1. In-App Delete Account Option

    • Open the Youdash / Youdash Vendor App

    • Go to Profile / Account Settings

    • Tap “Delete Account”

    • Confirm your request
      Your deletion request will be submitted instantly.

  2. Email Request
    You may also request account deletion by sending an email from your registered email address to:
    privacy@youdash.in
    Please include the following details:

    • Your full name

    • Registered phone number

    • Reason for deletion (optional)

Important Notes

  1. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

  2. Once deleted, you will lose access to your order history, wallet balance, saved items, store data (for vendor accounts), and other associated records.

  3. In cases involving fraud, misuse, or legal investigations, certain data may be retained as permitted by law.


8. Responsibilities of Vendors & Restaurants

  • Vendors and restaurants are solely responsible for the quality, freshness, safety, and authenticity of their products.

  • Food vendors must comply with FSSAI standards, and sellers must comply with relevant consumer and product safety laws.

  • Youdash only acts as a facilitator and is not liable for vendor-supplied content, warranties, or claims.


9. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

By using Youdash, you agree not to:

  • Use the Services for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform through automated systems, bots, or malware.

  • Misuse referral codes, promotions, or offers in an unfair or abusive manner.

  • Post or share unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content on the platform.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.


10. Limitation of Liability

  • Youdash provides Services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

  • While we strive to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free service or guarantee product quality (which lies with vendors).

  • Our liability is strictly limited to the value of the transaction in question. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including but not limited to loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.


11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Youdash, its employees, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services,

  • Violation of these Terms, or

  • Infringement of any rights of third parties.


12. Termination & Suspension

  • Youdash reserves the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity.

  • Users may delete their account via the App. Once deleted, access to order history and credits may no longer be available.


13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana.


14. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Consumer Protection rules, Youdash has appointed a Grievance Officer:
